SAC TALENT 2020 | Submissions start Nov 6th - Nov 22nd

Do you miss performing? Have you been waiting for the right opportunity to show off your secret talent? Are you looking for a chance to win $500? Then SAC Talent is the show for you! 

SAC Talent is an all-ages talent show and fundraiser. Participants will submit a video showcasing their talent and each video will be shared by the Selma Arts Center on all of our social media platforms. The submissions will be made public for all of our followers to enjoy.  Our panel of judges will watch the videos and vote to create a top ten. Those who are selected as part of the top ten will perform live on the Selma Arts Center stage, in accordance with current CDC guidelines. All live performances will be filmed and streamed on the Selma Arts Center Facebook page in a digital event spectacular, hosted by Ben Sells and Adam Chavez.

Participants are able to submit material in one of two divisions, Junior Talent (ages 2-12) and Mainstage Talent (13 and up).  Prizes will be given to the top three in the Mainstage Talent division, including a $500 cash prize for the first place winner. The top two winners in the Children's Division will also receive prizes. 

In addition to the talent competition, participants can take part in a donation competition, with 20% of the final donation pool awarded to the person with the highest donation points! 

Registration is $25. A processing fee will apply online and in the box office. You will only be able to process one registration at a time.

4/15/20. Over the course of the last few weeks, SAC leadership has been keeping a close eye on the situation surrounding COVID-19. In order to keep our patrons, production teams, artists, staff and volunteers safe, and in keeping with both state and local shelter-in-place regulations, we have made the decision to put a hold on all of our mainstage productions until advisable to reopen. We will continue to assess the situation and will rely on the advice of state and local officials to help determine when we can safely open our doors again. 

As of now auditions for future performances have been placed on hold. Please stay tuned for an update should anything change.
