ATTENTION WRITERS & DIRECTORS
Selma Arts Center introduces Selma Originals, an evening of original works written and directed by local talent. This is your opportunity to see your work take the spotlight! Whether you are an established playwright or budding writer with an idea for a short play, we invite you all to submit your work for an opportunity to see it on the SAC stage. Or, if you’re not a writer, apply for your chance to direct original work and collaborate directly with the playwright. Submission period is open now through May 17 and the work will be showcased in June! For more information click on Submission Criteria or email email@example.com
Selma Arts Council
All of the productions and programming you see at SAC are the direct result of the Selma Arts Council, a working committee of artists who volunteer their time, talents, and resources to help the legacy of the arts continue to thrive in Selma. We strive to promote a balance of art programming at SAC including events that showcase dance, theatre, visual and literary arts and we are currently in need of individuals who are interested in joining us in our endeavors. Applicants must be willing to work hard on a volunteer basis and should have insight and experience in one of the above mentioned artistic fields. We invite applicants from all fields but are particularly interested in members of the visual arts, as well as volunteers with fundraising experience.
Completed applications should be sent to Submissions@selmaartscenter.com.
